In case of incomplete vaccination or total lack thereof, the vaccination will be performed according to the guidelines of the National Committee on Vaccination.

Vaccines suggested by the National Committee on Vaccination

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, poliomyelitis Hib and hepatitis B (hexavalent) vaccines for children aged from 2 months old – 4 months old.
  • In the case of a lack of hexavalent vaccines, tetravalent or pentavalent ones can be used if available, and then the vaccination will be completed with monovalent vaccines for
    • Hib (haemophilius influenzae type b) and
    • Hep (hepatitis B).
  • Provided that there are vaccines available, vaccination follows the national timeline for vaccinations that includes e.g. pneumococcal, meningococcal, chicken pox, hepatitis A vaccines.
  • For the children of an age > 4 years old, teenagers and adults is recommended:
    • 1 dose of tetravalent vaccine
    • TdaP-IPV (adult type)

Note: Flu and meningococcal vaccines are recommended during an infection outbreak (accumulation of cases). As far as tuberculosis is concerned, BCG is recommended for the infants and a Mantoux check-up for the children over the age of 4 and the teenagers.
